Tips

  • Look Good
Wear your best socks, as shoes stay in the entryway. Avoid tight skirts--most seating is on low couches or on pillows on the floor.
  • When to Go
The experience is at its best when the restaurant is full, so reserve a spot on the busy Friday or Saturday nights.
  • Know Before You Go
Imperial Fez caters to large groups. Round up some close friends, or bring your coworkers.
  • The Extras
Take your experience home with a stop at Ameerah Imports, located in the restaurant. Haggle and get the best deal on trinkets and clothing.

Customer Reviews

nothing Imperial about my experience

I went to Imperial Fez last night. The evening started off good and our waiter was attentive, at first. One belly dancer came out and danced for like 15 minutes in one area of the room. You literally had to get out of your seat to see her. The food came out warm, instead of hot, and the recommended drinks left something to be desired. Once we were served we never saw the waiter again! The custom is to wash your hands at the table, before and after your meal. We washed our hands prior to eating, but afterward, no sign of the guy. He didn't even bring us our check. We got that from the waiter working the table next to ours. I felt very slighted. After this experience and paying the hefty price for such shabby service, I definitely will not be back.

Pros: atmosphere and ambience

Cons: Terrible service, was almost uncomfortably cold

Disappointed....Expensive and TERRIBLE Service

I went here for a friend's birthday and was disappointed. Although the food was pretty good and the experience was unique the service was awful. It was difficult to get refills on water (if any at all), we had an array of waitstaff, waitress was slow and could not answer questions about the dishes, and when it came time to pay the bill we had to wait over a half hour to get the attention of the waitstaff. For these prices and the previous reviews I expected ALOT more. I would never go back to this tacky establishment and I would never recommend it to anyone else.

Pros: Unique

Cons: Terrible service

The waitress took the time to explain everything about the Moroccan dining style. I ordered a sauteed shrimp, my girlfriend ordered a lamb cutlet, they were both wonderful. The fire dance is amazing. We had a great time during dinner. We will definitely come back.
