I moved from Sonoma, CA to North Georgia in October '06 to take a job at a winery. I had lived in the south for a year when I was younger, and loved it. I was bored where I was, and need a good adventure, so one day I decided to move to the Atlanta area (having some friends and family here made the decision easier). I am a spontaneous person; I like to take things as they come. I am capable of planning, but generally don't, things just works out better that way.

I love adventures of all sort, be it an afternoon discovering some new part of town, or 3 month sailing journey across the pacific (good times!). I enjoy being outside, kayaking, sitting on the deck of a bar with a drink, playing Frisbee with some friends, or even a game of pick up two hand touch.

I am especially fond of anything having to do with the water. Fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming, you name it, I am game. I am very excited about moving to north Georgia for this very reason! I love going to movies, hanging out in the pub, game night with my friends, and road trips. I am the undisputed road trip King!!

I am somehow always in school. I feel that education is important and that you should never stop learning be it from books, experiences, or through formal education. I am not an education snob, however.

What can i tell you? I am a full time student and have a full time job. Needless to say this takes up alot of my time. On my off time I enjoy reading, video games, working out, walking, music and almost anything else that can keep me busy. Bordom is something i can not stand.

I'm still a little skeptical about internet dating, but i figured, why not. Just looking to meet some new people, and possibly more. I never really know what to write about myself. I work at Scottish Rite Children's Hopsital in Atlanta as a Nursing Assistant until I can finish getting through Paramedic school. I am in hopes of someday making it onto the CHOA Life Flight Helicopter Team when I finish school.

In my free time, I love to be outdoors (camping, hiking, biking, etc) I also love to train with my Portuguese Water Dog Ivy. We do agility, competition obedience and other fun things. I have only had her since October, but she has already passed her Threapy Dog test and we will start therapy work as soon as the paperwork comes in. I coach a middle school girls lacrosse team as well. When I am not coaching my girls, I am playing for an Atlanta womans club team in games all over the southeast. I love to travel, but haven't been able to do much of that lately thanks to my work schedule.

I love sports! I go to as many Braves baseball games a season as I can. My great great uncle was a batting coach for them, so I have grown up a Braves fan. I also love UGA football and go to as many games a season I can, including some away games. I will sit down and watch just about any sport and actually know whats going on :)

I love country music, but listen to almost anything (other than techno and some rap) Sushi and Mexican food are by far my two favorite foods and I could probably eat them almost every day, but I am not very picky and will try anything at least once.

I am not a fancy guy, though have been told I clean up nicely :) I can play the business person roll but my try nature i must admit is jeans and t shirt or sweatshirt, and yes I wear sandals. Not the fancy leather kind, but more like hiking sandals. If you had to catergoize me you would probably get a headache trying.

I am handy , can fix about anything electronic or mechanical, home repairs , stone work, landscaping ... etc etc. I work in the computer field so got that area covered too. Like I mentioned I love to cook, and keep coworkers and random strangers well fed since I really do not know how to cook for 1-2 or even 3-4 but more like 8 + I dont come from a big family , just how I cook :)
I really am a very easy going guy, I am not big on the rush rush life and having every minute of my day booked, actually far from it. I work, aside from that and taking out the dogs I really do not "plan" a whole heck of allot. Dont get me wrong , I would , and do sometimes obviously make plans, but do not feel the need to always "have something to do".

I'm a pretty sensitive well natured kinda guy, but I know when to be tough. I love my job despite the economy, its got great hours and weekends off. I do the military thing once a month too. Most of my interests lie in cars, I am very passionate about turning wrenches and making things work. I am very fond of the outdoors, hiking, offroading, fishing, etc. If I had a year off from life i'd probably spend it hiking the appalachian trail. Let's see now... Originally from Russia (here come the commie jokes), easy going and with a good sense of humor. I'm really interested in japanese culture in particular and even took japanese in college. Not really good at it, but I know enough words to be dangerous. I don't have any pets but I do like cats and dogs (used to have both).

What do I say about myself? hmmm I'm that guy that always ends up as everybody's best friend. I'm also that guy you know that usually doesn't say much but people seem to keep coming back to for more.
I'm either full of jokes or full of seriousness. I can sit and talk about philosophy for hours or I can chill with people and watch tv and play video games or maybe party it up a bit. I'm not super good at the whole big social scene, though. I usually end up sitting somewhere talking to one person or something.
I'm weird. In a good way I'm told. I'm absolutely terrible at talking. Small talk is beyond my grasp and it drives me crazy. So really, if you're talking to me and I'm not saying much its nothing personal, I just really can't think of anything good to say.
I'm a huge romantic sap. Most people I know don't really know that, so there ya go. A juicy tidbit about me.
Also...ex uber-nerd...still kinda nerdy but whatev. Being nerdy appeals to me so I still do nerdy things because they're fun. lol

Argggg, I hate these self summary things. I'm just me and don't spend a tremendous amount of time thinking about how I would describe myself to someone else.

I suppose I'm not a big fan of crowds, the bar scene, etc. I do enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, sight seeing, mountain drives and getaways, and working in the yard, but I'm not a big fan of georgia summers... It just gets too hot for my taste in july and august.

I enjoy hanging out around the house, cooking, watching movies, the usual homey stuff. I also spend a fair amount of time working on my track day car but would not put that before spending time with the right woman.

I've been engaged, but never married, no kids. I'm not afraid of women that have children, I just never wanted to have any of my own. I'd much rather be single than be with the "wrong" woman.

My friends and family are what drive me to do my best. I love the water and I am always wake boarding. I love to go out to bars, and to have fun at parties. Hey! I'm a great dad and love it. I'm a pretty active person. I love the outdoors and just being in and around nature, whether it's camping or hiking or the beach. I'm definitely going to make this life the most amazing experience I possibly can and I'm on here looking for people with the same outlook in life.

I work hard and have had it all and had almost nothing, so I've learned to appreciate what and who is in my life. I'm not a bitter person. I've learned humility and for the most part have my ego and vanity in control.

I moved to Georgia 2 years ago from Michigan and have not found my stride here yet.

Most of my pictures aren't super recent, but hopefully they'll give you some idea of how eclectic I am (and how I look.) Although, I'm not smiling in any of them, I spend most of my time smiling; it just never seems to come when a picture is being taken. I can not fake a smile for anything. It just has to happen.

I have what few people get in life... a fresh start. That's given me the opportunity to do things I never could before, and even take a new path if I so choose. I love my life, but I'd also love to share it with you, if you dare!

My name is Nick, I'm originally from Tennessee. I came to Atlanta for school at The Art Institute. I work full-time as a movie theatre manager and do freelance video game art on the side. I spend alot of my free time learning and developing new skills as a digital artist.

I guess until I get to know someone I can be shy at times. Or until I get a good feel for the new person/ people I'm around.

I love to be entertained, I really enjoy going to the movies, even thou I work at a theatre. I really enjoy going to comedy clubs and hearing other peoples take on this crazy world we live in. Although sense the Funny Farm here in Alpharetta closed I haven't been to one in a while. I'm always up for a good show (concert), big or small venue.

I'm a very open minded person when it comes to all topics.

Like alot of people my age I'm trying to figure things out that in my opinion probable should have been figured out by now. Those things vary from religion to career and so on. I know exactly what I want to do in life, I just need to get the train back on course.
